I spoke to Madhavi at Iskcon Vrindavan. Born in Armenia she is a Russian citizen. While in USSR she was missing connection with God. After coming in contact with Krishna consciousness movement in Russia she found peace and satisfaction. Now she is known by the name Madhavi. She's been residing in Vrindavan since 2009. Her entire family is here too. She's an inspiration to a lot of people who want to attain a higher spiritual plane.

She has to frequently travel to Russia to get a new visa to stay in India. Sometimes she gets a visa for one year and sometimes for five years. She's practically an Indian in all aspects. She's proud to be associated with the oldest surviving culture in the world.
